interaction
Grant CRC is a body of believers in Jesus Christ with over 300 members.
We are an established
and vibrant church, in a rural community 30 miles north of
Grand Rapids
and 5 miles east of
Grant,
Michigan.
First organized in 1896 in the
village of Sun,
we are over 110 years old.
Our worship style is a blend of traditional
and contemporary music and liturgy.
Opportunities are available to
serve God in the areas of teaching and working within the church itself
and in our neighborhood.
We are active in the Newaygo County Jail
Ministry, leading worship services in a local nursing home, with a local
clearinghouse ministry – Love In the Name of Christ, and other local
outreach, including vacation Bible school.
We also help financially support
missionaries to other countries.
We are a church of the
Christian Reformed Church of North America, a denomination with beliefs
based within the
Reformation, and we hold to beliefs as
expressed in the Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dordt, and the
Belgic Confession.
Creeds we hold to are the Apostles’ Creed,
Nicene Creed, and Athanasian Creed.

Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father
almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His
only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the
Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to hell.
The third day He rose again
from the dead.
He ascended to heaven and
is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there He will come to
judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy
Spirit, the holy universal church,
The communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the
body, and the life everlasting.
