Grant CRC is a body of believers in Jesus Christ with over 200 members.  We are an established and vibrant church in a rural community 30 miles north of Grand Rapids and 5 miles east of Grant, MI.  First organized in 1896 in the village of Sun, we have been faithfully serving for over 125 years.  Our worship style is a blend of traditional and contemporary music and liturgy.

What we believe

We are a church of the Christian Reformed Church of North America, a denomination with beliefs based within the Reformation, and we hold to beliefs as expressed in the Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dordt, and the Belgic Confession.  Creeds we hold are the Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed and Athanasian Creed.

Apostles' creed

I believe in God the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
